Flodesk Pricing
When Flodesk began, they offered an unlimited pricing structure. While most email marketing platforms penalize you for growing your list (aka, you pay more the more subscribers you have), Flodesk charged a flat rate regardless of how large your email list is.
As of November 28, 2025, Flodesk is moving to a tiered pricing model, similar to most email marketing platforms. This means that the amount you pay is based off of the number of subscribers you have.
The Flodesk pricing for email marketing alone starts at $35/month (billed annually). If you'd like to add on e-commerce, it's an additional $24/month (annually). If you choose to pay annually, you'll receive one month free.
While it might seem like a large investment at first, your email list converts 40x better than social media. Utilizing email marketing intentionally is well worth the expense and will give you a strong ROI, or return on investment.

Flodesk is a company that cares
Yes we will discuss some of the best features in this Flodesk review, but before we can, I have to mention how incredible the Flodesk team is. The company says they care about small businesses—but most importantly, they put their words into action.
With so many options out there for email marketing, I want to give my money to a company I believe in. I’ve seen Flodesk grow since 2019, and they’ve truly grown with grace. Sounds funny for a tech platform, right? It’s rare, but here’s what I mean.
Launching the Partner Program
In the fall of 2024, Flodesk launched their partner program. They already had an affiliate program that all users had access to, but the partner program took things up a notch by offering partners an even higher commission rate, first access to changes, and exclusive webinars and trainings.
In a world where most companies want to pay their people less, Flodesk looked for ways their community could earn more. This really stood out to me, and I’ve truly never seen a referral program as collaborative and beneficial to everyone involved as this one.
Managing the Unlimited Subscribers Shift
Then we come to the biggest Flodesk change to date—going from offering unlimited subscribers to a tiered pricing structure based on subscribers. When you become known for something, it’s really challenging to change that and not receive backlash. And Flodesk was absolutely known for offering unlimited subscribers, as virtually no other platform offered that.
Instead of announcing the price change effective immediately (as most platforms do), they did something different. They announced it months early, to give people time to prepare for the change. AND (most importantly), they rewarded early adopters by allowing people to lock in the unlimited pricing forever. This means that if you join before the official price change on November 28, 2025, you lock in unlimited subscribers as long as you keep your Flodesk subscription.
This is basically unheard of, especially in the online platform space. It seems like every year, I receive an email from a platform I consistently use for my business about a price increase. Rarely are you rewarded for your loyalty by locking in a low price, but Flodesk is doing just that. While they may take a slight financial hit by doing this, it’s significantly better for them in the long run because people respect them for it.
That shows you the heart of this company. It’s not just about how much money they can make, but how they can best support small business owners and their growth.
Flodesk Features
Flodesk deeply cares about small business owners and their successes, and it's evident in how they listen to their community. Flodesk is constantly coming out with new features and improvements, without raising the price for members.
They work to eliminate the need for other platforms, such as ClickFunnels, Linktree, Leadpages, Thrivecart, and more by offering advanced features.

User-friendly Design
Creating an email list for your small business may feel intimidating at first, but Flodesk has your back. Everything on the platform is user-friendly, including drag and drop features (no code required).
If you aren't sure how to do something, they have a comprehensive help center where you can find answers to your questions or ask their team. They also have Flodesk University, where you'll find more email marketing education and strategies.
Landing Page and Email Templates
You never have to start from scratch on Flodesk, because they have gorgeous templates to choose from for everything! There are full page templates for landing pages (hosted with yourname.myflodesk.com customizable domains so you don't even need a website!), in-line and pop-up forms, emails, and more.
Select a template that represents your brand, and customize everything including colors, logos, fonts, and images.
Segments
Flodesk makes segmenting your audience so simple. When filling out a form, someone can select their preferences and be segmented automatically. You can also create segments for each freebie and form you make. This allows you to strategically email your audience with the exact content that they want to receive.
Another way to automatically segment your email is by utilizing the link actions feature (full blog here). When you include a link in an email, you can choose to add someone to a segment if they click the link.
Workflows
Flodesk workflows allow you to essentially build out nurture sequences and sales funnels all within the platform—no ClickFunnels required. The workflows are easy to create and follow.
Even creating from scratch, the platform walks you through exactly what happens at every step. Personally, I utilize workflows to deliver my freebies and digital products, and then send subscribers through related email sequences.
Countdown Timers
A very useful Flodesk feature (especially during launching) are the countdown timers. This feature replaces external platforms like Countdown Hero. If you have a sale ending or the doors are closing to your program, utilizing countdown timers is a strategic way to drive urgency for your audience.
Flodesk has a large selection of timers to choose from that you can add directly into your emails. The best part? All the timers are customizable to your brand colors and fonts—because of course they would be.
Analytics
One of my personal favorite features is the Analytics tab. This was the biggest feature that I felt was missing from Flodesk for a few years, and creating it shows again how much they listen to what their community needs.
The Analytics tab makes it easy to track your subscriber growth, open rates, performance by segment, form metrics, and more. As with everything else with Flodesk, tracking analytics is a pleasant experience due to how user-friendly they created it to be.

If you're a beginner to email marketing or you're a small business owner who would love to work with a platform that's easy-to-use and affordable, I cannot recommend Flodesk to you enough.
